Characteristic Of Neoprene Rubber

Features of Polychloroprene (CR) / Neoprene:

Chloroprene Rubber (CR), another name is Neoprene. one of the first oil resistant synthetic rubbers that has been used for a wide range of purposes for many years. a good general purpose rubber with an excellent balance of physical and chemical properties. Its chemical, oil, ozone and heat resistance is better than natural rubber. it was first developed as a substitute that improves the oil resistance of natural rubber.

CR is a well-balanced rubber with excellent mechanical strength, weather resistance, chemical resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, and oil resistance. In addition, it can be manufactured to have various features such as flame retardancy, low gas permeability, and strong adhesive strength (when using with specific rubber glue).

However, it tends to crystallize at low temperatures and is not suitable for use at low temperatures.

Due to its characteristics, CR is used in automobile parts (belts and hoses), general industrial products, adhesives, sponge products, rubber products for construction, electric wires, etc. Please contact us for futher details.

Advantages of CR (chloroprene rubber)
Anti vibration, weather resistance, aging resistance and ozone resistance, as well as good heat resistance, cold resistance and oil resistance.

Disadvantages of CR (chloroprene rubber)
inferior in electrical insulation and low temperatues

Usage of CR (chloroprene rubber)
It is used for gastket, anti-vibration pad, sound proof, door seal, O-rings, grommets, conveyor belts, rolls, rising, wet suits, wire coating, etc.
